Sycamore House is a spacious late 17th century listed sandstone cottage sleeping 8. Combined with Midtown Farm next door we can take groups of up to 30 people. Sycamore House has 4 bedrooms and loads of bathroom facilities, including 2 full ensuites. Formerly a pub called The Black Bull Inn, it is full of character with many beams and huge stone fireplaces with logburners. Recently renovated, it provides well equipped luxury accommodation.
We are available for off season short breaks and for longer stays at all times.
We welcome pets
We are located in the Eden Valley with easy access to the M6 and A1, but in the peaceful village of Dufton which is a conservation area on the edge of the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty. We have a variety of local attractions for all ages and are an easy drive from the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and Scotland. Our area is ideal for walking and cycling from the doorstep, including the spectacular glaciated valley of High Cup Nick in the Pennines. Or just take a short stroll to our village pub.
