Sycamore House is a late 17th century listed sandstone cottage, formerly a pub called The Black Bull Inn. It is located on the Pennine Way in the centre of the peaceful and picturesque village of Dufton, in the Eden Valley. We run a bed and breakfast in the house and we also have a self catering flat in a converted barn behind the house, which has a beautiful view of the Pennine Hills.

The village is an ideal location for a peaceful weekend away or a longer stay to explore the variety of attractions the area has to offer. There are both gentle and challenging walks from the doorstep, and we are situated in the middle of ideal cycling countryside. Our local pub, which serves good food, is just a few doors down, and the village also has a shop/post office, which sells newspapers, groceries and serves teas.

We are just an easy drive from a wide variety of outdoor and indoor attractions and activities for all ages.
